Wages what can I do ?

Hi can someone please give me some advice. Got paid last week and the owners came to the conclusion that I had been over paid, for the last three months, so they took that money from my wages. However I have been over my timesheets and had been overpaid but nowhere near as to what they have deducted. I went to see my manager and went over all my working hours, which she agreed was correct. The manager has been in touch with the owners and I am still waiting to get my money! I am getting very frustrated now, perhaps its a ploy for me to just quit. I did telephone the owners and she got very nasty saying I have to go through things via the manager. The manager does not seem to hold much weight (she's new). Should I call the owners again? I got a feeling I am going to say poke your job, then be out of a job lol. How does the law stand on this. Thanks for taking the time to read.

This sounds like an unlawful deduction from wages and you are entitled to make a complaint to an employment tribunal.
Threaten them with a tribunal and they'll probably settle swiftly.

you can;t deduct from someone's wages without informing them first, - jeez if i have to deduct £6 for a replacement keycard i have to get them to sign a permission slip!

as calibax says tell them you have taken legal advice and tellt hem you will take it further if the money is not repaid straight away
in your last thread it would appear that your employer did not have to inform you of a deduction to your wages

Try not to get into unpleasant phone calls, put everything in writing to them and keep a copy..
You should follow your employer's grievance procedure first before going to tribunal as the tribunal maytake this into account.

I have just been in touch with my manager, have told her to inform the owners that if my wages are not sorted out I will take legal action. Ojread, we have time sheets and signing in books, she has not looked at them correctly, so there are times and dates on the sheets that she has totally not seen. They were quick enough to deduct. Thankyou for all the replies and help.
No, don't do that - read again what Ratter and Calibax suggested to you. Advise your manager tomorrow that you wish to instigate a grievance against your employer for an unlawful deduction of wages. Put that in writing then wait 3 days max to see what happens. Oh, and ask for a copy of the company's Grievance Procedure if you don't have access to a copy.
