Not sure where to post this....

Every time I type my postcode into a database it doesn't come up with my house number. I live in a mid terrace & both my neighbours house numbers come up. This has happened when i order things online, register car insurance etc...

Any ideas why this is happening or who i can contact?

Thanks!

contact Royal mail. They need to update their Royal Mail Postcode Address File (PAF). It is strange your house is not on it, especially since it is a mid terrace. Is it a new house?

Thanks scotman, useful sounding number on there i'll call tomorrow, thanks!
This also depends on what database you are searching against? The Royal Mail uses the Land Registry and O/S databases which are the most accurate but there are other's out there. I live in a new build and when i have tried to buy things on-line sometimes my housing details are known and sometimes they are not! Pretty annoying really!
You need to make sure that both the local council street numbering team and the Royal Mail update their websites.
