I renewed my mobile broadband with 3 in December for a further 2 years. I have since moved house and the reception is non existent in my new house. When i renewed I got a new laptop which is why the contract is for 2 years. Can i cancel the contract for the mobile broadband as this is completely useless for me and continue to pay for the laptop. I think I already know the answer but I need confirmation. Needless to say I'm getting broadband through BT next week so I'll never again get a mobile broadband dongle.

Thank you in advance

I would rather presume that the answer is "no" unless the company is being especially co-operative. You certainly won't have the right to do so unilaterally. The service worked perfectly well until you changed the conditions by moving. 3 haven't done anything in breach of the contract.

That's what I thought, I can live in hope, I'll just have to ride it out and once the contract is up give my months notice and cancel it.
dmh - can you "rent" your 3 dongle to someone who has got better rcption, to try and recover some of your losses?
Maybe you should go to contractual agreements for mobile broadband, also you can choose yes or no..
