How are redundancy payments calculated----- on basic wage per week for each year or take home pay?

This is a useful website, it shows the statutory minimum, so legally you won't get less but you could get more depending on your employer's policy http://www.redundancyhelp.co.uk/PayQuick.htm

It's generally calculated on your contractual pay, so wouldn't include overtime, bonuses, etc.
