My son has been comited to Crown Court on GBH charges for which he has pleaded Not Guilty. He was granted legal aid and Representation Order at the Magistrates Court. This order has been used to grant Legal Aid at Crown Court. This was all based upon his earnings at the time of £100 per week.

The Crown Court case was supposed to have been heard last week, but has been adjourned (yet again!) and as yet we don't have a new date. My son has also just completed his apprenticeship and his earnings should rise to around £300 per week.

Will this affect his leagal aid ?

If he doesn't recieve a pay rise and is found guilty, will he be ordered to repay his legal aid?

If hie has to repay his leagal aid, how is this calculated?

Many Thanks
