Hi Folkss, will keep this as brief as possible
ok, wife abandoned the marriage/joint mortgage and debts 14 months ago & recently entered into a protected trust deed (an IVA sort of thing)...........i tried to divorce her on grounds of abandonment & get her to relinquish rights to equity as I have kept paying the mortgage, she contributes nothing.

She never agreed to terms as she wants to force the sale of the house when the fixed term ends to help pay her debts, that is 18 months time but there will be no less than 4-5 grand equity.

I have tenants in the house with 3 young kids

Can she force me to sell? what can I do to prevent her?

Cheers all

not sure on the forced to sell part.
but to help prevent this action " if she can " maybe you could try to buy her share of the property. " not going to be easy as you have the " avi type" thing in place.

the CAB will be able to advice you
