why and how could you, has it fallen down in the wind, has it caught fire, just because its old and in a mess does not give you any right to claim on your insurance, poor maintenance on it in the past is no excuse

Whats wrong with a wooden conservatory? Built properly and maintained well, these will look far better, for longer, than your UPVC type. Give me wood any day over plastic.
My parents have a wooden conservatory which is thirty years old, they do need regular maintenance though, anyway of course you can't claim on your insurance you need to either pay for a new conservatory or ask yourself why you bought it in the first place.
if my car was falling to bits, would my insrance company give me a new one? I dont think so squirelpoo.

Save your pennies and build a new one
Don't be so bloody ridiculous. Was there a gun to your head when you bought the house? Did you have a survey carried out? If not it's your own fault for being a penny pincher.
