I won a clinical negligence case last year. The judgement was handed down in Jan '16. The judge refused the Defendants leave to appeal. On the 29/01/16 the Defendants submitted the paperwork seeking leave to appeal. How long does a judge have from receiving the Appellants request to making a decision to grant/refuse permission in this case?
