In a nutshell - had an accident at work due to their fault and now i am injured and wish to make a claim against them - who is best to contact i.e what firm? C.A.B cant really comment on whats best in that area - are these stupid adverts like "injury lawyers for you" really worth contacting? I am entitled to legal aid as well due to my low income. I know some solicitors dont accept this...where do i go from here?

^^ reading the posts which appeared while I was writing - I hope that each and every one of your accidents is recorded in your works' Accident Book - this is a legal obligation, you are in your rights to request that the entry be made at the time. We record everything in ours, even near misses, just in case something like this arises.
boxtops - and I bet your near misses or hits are reviewed monthly to try to reduce risk, put in plan then monitored - easy really
