i stay in end of terrace house, what rights does my neighbour next door to use path at side of house other than access to put wheelie bin out and in????

He and you will have whatever is stated in the title deeds for the properties.

Probably 'reasonable access' at any 'reasonable time'. The law is vague in this area. What is the neighbour doing that you do not like ?

You need to read the deeds or land registry entry for both properties and see what it says.
