I was looking at job adverts and one for a school said:

Lunchtime Supervisor Grade 3 (point 9)

Does anyone know if this is in relation to a qualification for the job or how much it pays?
TIA

I would imagine it's the pay scale. I don't think dinner ladies (as we used to call them) need many qualifications.
There seems to be an error in the advertisement, because Point 9 on the Local Government Scale isn't at Grade 3. (It's a Grade 2 post). The rate of pay is £7.04 per hour.

Thankyou very much
Chris, since the advent of Single Status some authorities have made up their own levels but still using the pay scale.
