Hi guys,

Getting really frustrated with the whole 'trying to change career' business. My problem is I want to do an Open University degree, however whilst I am fine to do the first section I then have to be employed and also sponsored by said employer to complete my course!!! How do I get employed by companies without any prior experience in this as I have been working in the Sales Industry for the last ten years, yes I am 32! This is getting me really cross as it appears to be so difficult to re train/better yourself and just feel like I am meeting a brick wall....I am prepared to fund the degree myself but still need an employer apparently!!!! If anyone can help even with suggestions of companies/organisations that could put me through this, carry out assessments on me.....

Thank you guys

Mel :)

OU students liaise through local tutor - they would be best to advise you; their salary depends on you completing the course.
