I started working part time self employed in Dec 2007 and stopped in November 2008. I only earnt a very, very small amount, no more than 100 in total.

I did register as self employed but applied for a certificate of small earnings so I didn;t have to pay NI on the earnings as well as NI for my full time job.

Do I need to inform them I am now no longer working as self employed? Also, will I need to fill a tax return or anything for the work I did?

You earned 100 in 11months as SE? If you're employed your employer will have informed the tax office of your changed status.

Yep, it was only the odd bit of research work here and there for a few pounds.

It's not going from SE to employed, as I was working full time at the same time as doing this little bit of SE work. Do I still need to let the tax office know?
