I'm 16 and about to have an interview for a part time job at my local petrol station. Now, what the bloomin hell do i wear? I think I may look a tad silly going smartly dressed, but don't want to make it look like I don't care??

When do I tell the job centre about a new job?

PAYE reference number - how can i find??!

For the interview, I think the smarter the better - it does show that you are serious. But try and make a point early on asking about the expected word-wear to show you do know the difference between first impressions and common sense when working. If you are only on the fore-court handling messy stuff is one think but if actually dealing with the customers in shop etc. employers do appreciate a little smartness even if they cannoy be bothered themselves.

Have to agree with four star look smart they will know you take a pride in yourself and will probably take a pride in your job.Good luck hope you get it.
