Taxable income from freelance work?

If someone was to earn just �20 to �30 (max.) a week by doing freelance work in the media would they be bothered by any income tax rules?

i can't think of any freelance job in the media that only pays �30 a week!
its usually more than that a day, never mind a week!

i think you would have to prove that was all you got

ahh. do you work elsewhere for the rest of the time or are you unemployed?

I have a day job....earning under �13,000
as far as i know you have to be earning above a certain amount, but i can't find my papers to get the info for you, sorry.
