Hi,
Does anyone know how recruiting agencies work?
Do they take a cut of your salary you receive at your new job or does the company pay them compensation for finding you?
Many Thanks
Chris

They'll invoice the company, usually based on a percentage of your first year's wage.
Hey,
the agency will have companies on their books that need vacancies filled, then they would recruit ppl for the position, they charge the company ...say 10 per hour but pay you 6 per hour..thats how they earn the money, also if you go full time with that company and not through the agency they get a "pay off" from the company for you.

Recruiting Agencies are paid by the company that is hiring an employee. Beware of any agency or recruiter that asks you to pay them a fee- it's a scam. Here is an example of a legitimate highly respected remote sales recruiting agency.  Notice they have been in business for 36 years and their client list. https://www.insidesalesstaff.com
