I've just had an interview for a job I really want, will find out if I've been successful on Friday. I want to send an email to the lady who interviewed me to say how interested in the job I am and that I hope she considers me seriously for the role. When would be the best time to send the email between now and Friday, also, any ideas on how I should word it, I'd like to keep it quite informal.

Thanks if you can help!

In my opinion, the best time to send this e-amil would be NEVER. I think you should rely on your performance in the interview, and not resort to what might be seen as "begging" for the job. I know I would take well to receiving such an e-mail when interviewing for my staff.
I'll second that ...
No, don't do it.

Good luck for Friday though. :)
I'll fourth that, you'll just seem desperate. She is already considering you seriously for the role or you would not have even been interviewed. Now promise you'll do nothing until after you find out if you got the job. You can only screw up from here!
Hi Banth - well, did you get the job?
