If i take voluntary redundancy ,does it affect my ability to claim unemployment benefit?

Depends on what's on offer from your employer, especially if there is a large payment to you as pay off for taking the redundancy. Is a company pension also involved, as that could take you over the limit for unemployment benefit.


Your employer should giver you details of what is on offer to you before you even consider VR.


It doesn't affect your right to claim Jobseekers Allowance. I know, I've done it.
