being the obsessive control freak that i am i cant handle the waiting (was at an interview this morning) to find out if i got the job!!! so here is what happened i think the signs are ok i think

interview lasted 10 minutes

interviewer was v impressed by my pc skills

told me what i 'would' be doing opposed to what i might be doing

told me there is scope for a promotion

would i mind working with 4 women?

we both have a young family and spoke of that

when could i start?

bad points

when asked if i had any questions i came out with the standard rubbish

on my way out she said if you want to know a bit more about the company just give us a call (which i think meant you asked ****** all during the interview)

what do you reckon??

Ten minutes doesn't sound very long - what type of job were you inteviewed for?

think it was actually longer than 10mins women seemed v busy

most of those questions are standard i'm afraid and are asked of all applicants, and are asked in a positive way as a matter of course, as they need to know whether you fit all the criteria and whether you accept all of theirs - no point in going through loads of paper work etc only you have you say no to some random issue later down the line.

don't read too much into their phraseology or questions - they are trained to cover all avenues in a certain way to make you feel at ease and also to prevent any complaints by interviewees, that they wer spoken to badly or felt intimidated etc etc

good luck
