I have already posted this on Internet and Technology but no joy! When i was at primary and secondary school (i am 25 now) we had to play an educational computer game called Martello Towers. The aim of the game was to work your way to the top of the tower and unlock a wall with a pattern called the Mystic Rose. Would any one know where i could get a copy of this for a pc? Thanks x

It's really bugging me as it was such a great game!

You can download it here:

Not sure if it works - you probably need to download a bbc micro emulator from somewhere too, such as this one

http://b-em.bbcmicro.com/

Haven't got a clue on how good any of these are. Haven't really got time ot test them at the moment - maybe I'll have a look after work

Thanks Uncle Bob, the bbc micro emulator, not sure what i have to do, i went to the windows one, opened it, do i save it or open it? If save it where to? Sorry im a techno phobe! x

Ok... here goes...

1. Save the emulator to your desktop & do the same with the game - they are zip files

2. Open the emulator zip and extract to somewhere on your pc (I used c:\b-em) and do the same with the game

3. You can now delete the zips from your desktop if you want, or leave them there - up to you.

4. In the folder c:\b-em (go My Computer -> Local disk (C:) -> b-em) there is a file called b-em.exe (icon is white box with blue header). Double click this to open the emulator.

5. Instructions for opening games are in the readme file, but basically to open martello, click on disk menu in emulator, then 'change disc 0/2' and it should bring you up a directory box. Click on 'martello.ssd'. Then Shift+F12 will start game.

Hope this helps
