Your knowledge of chemicals, and how to use them, would help keep the school free of annoying little parasites.

Applying for scientific based jobs at commercial companies is an obvious choice, but having been in academia so far you may need to take a lowly paid position while you learn the commercial practices and company ethos.

 

Alternatively do you hold a dream of making a living at some interest or hobby you have ? Maybe invest in becoming skilled at whatever that might be and then launching yourself onto the world. You are only guaranteed to live once.  Make the most of it while you still can; but do so with your eyes open.
