My son gets ESA as he is unemployed.He submitted a fit note , and although he didn't have to attend to see his work coach during that time, he was put on a intensive training programme at the Job centre.He didn't raise the issue due to possible sanction concerns.
Does a fit note only exclude work coach appointments only ?

I assume a fit note here is what we used to call a sick note (ie the fit note said 'not fit'.
