Does anyone know of an employment agency handling Home Economists? Always listed at end of food programmes.

I doubt that there's a specialist agency for such a niche employment field but the main job sites (such as Indeed.co.uk) will probably show any vacancies available. That's where I found this one for John Lewis in London:

Thanks, it's a difficult search..as soon as you type in economist, financial jobs appear. John Lewis listed food technogist which is what is taught in schools. I wonder why tv credits use the home economist term?

Having worked as one I am unaware of any agencies that you can register with.

My work has always been by word of mouth.

Home Economists are also described as Food Sylists.

Yeah, TV work is that glamorous but you do get to eat well, even if you've done 90% of the effort yourself :-(

When searching on job agency sites, remember that many use the same convention as Google, whereby using double quotes restricts the search to the designated string. i.e. searching for this line:
home economist
will find anything containing 'home' or 'economist' (giving you loads of unwanted results in the financial sector) but searching for this line:
"home economist"
will only find links where the two words are paired together.
