As I'm coming up for redundancy I wonder what options there are for "working from home"...any recommendations? I'm prepared to put the hours in so wonder what might be available.

What skills do you have?
Question Author
Mostly mechanical/physical but quite capable of some administrative or support work. Quite happy to undergo some training as necessary, and have car should driving/transportation be required.

No I haven't. Is that something you'd recommend initially?
It was just an idea. An agency might be able to link you to a position whereby you could use your skills.
Its hardly working from home I know, but there is a national shortage of HGV drivers. Check your local agencies for driving work, there's often plenty.
