After 10 weeks off work suffering from stress and depression I had a long conversation with my doctor and we both decided that I was well enough to return to work with the medication I am on, the doctor wrote me a fit note and I informed the company that i would be returning to work.
I then recieved a phone call saying that I could not return to work without them contacting my doctor and getting a letter stating that i'm fit for work, this was 3 weeks ago and I have recieved neither a wage or sick pay since my last sick note finished.
No reply from my company even though i phone them every couple of days, part of the reason for my stress was money so this is not helping me, any advive on where i stand and if i can claim any money would be much appriciated

I really don't think the HR department in your company knows how to deal with this. Assuming you've sent the Fit Note in to them, that is the Note that demonstrates that your doctor is saying you are OK to work. It is not uncommon for the company to want you to see a company-appointed doctor for a second opinion (at the companies expense), but it is usually the other way around - the employer wants the employee back but the employee won't come back to work.

Phone the employer, say you are ready and willing to come back to work, you've sent them the Fit Note, so can you start tomorrow, please. See what happens.
have you sent them or taken in the fit note? you should be having a return to work interview and a plan made , maybe with phased return if needed?
