well you need to look at the question. Have you ever bought anything? Have you ever been ruffled around the boa with the sales assisstant? have they ever gone out of their way to be helpful? you need to think of a good experience you have had and work out what it was that made it a good experience for you
as a provider protecting the reputation of the company and as a customer resolving, or at least attempting to resolve, whatever issue I have.
To me civility and knowledge as a customer. I am fed up with assistants who will have a conversation with each other at checkout while you are waiting.

Please, thank you and a decent attitude go a long way to pleasing me in this respect.

Service with a smile. Knowledge and if the knowledge is not there they will not hesitate to go find out for you. Manners.
