When you change your insurer are you supposed to declare a windscreen replacement under a previous insurer as a claim although it does not affect your no claims discount?

I always declare it when i change, (or repaired chip)
cause if you dont i'm sure they may wriggle out of it
if it came to light.

When you apply for insurance with another company you have an obligation to declare any and all claims you have made within the requested time period even if they do not affect your NCD.
