I do not know whether or not this is the correct place to post this question, but I would be grateful of any answers. I am a named driver on my other half's insurance. A few weeks ago, we had an accident where a 3rd party drove into the back of us. I was driving, my other half was a passenger. The claim is in hand at the moment. The question that I have is this: Am I deemed to have made a claim on this insurance? My other half has made the claim off his insurance of which I am a named driver. I am seeking insurance for myself - do I say that I have made a claim on any insurance policy or not? The policy is NOT in my name. Thanks in anticipation.

You must give details of any accidents or convictions. This was a non- fault accident so won't affect your premium but you must declare it.
