name is difficult because they may just happen to have the same name as you.....but if they are using your address and car reg then you may have an issue.....If you know which company or if they are using a comparison website then you could contact the company
You can make a report to the Police Action Fraud website:

https://www.actionfraud.police.uk/reporting-fraud-and-cyber-crime

or if you wish to discuss your suspicions phone them on:

0300 123 2040

Although it is difficult to raise the matter with anyone else unless you have been a victim and can discuss with the insurers involved. You could speak with your own insurers and put them on notice of your suspicions.
what makes you think they are?
Does it show up under your name on your credi file? It's worth checking

I ask because my ex husband was putting me down as main driver and himself as named to obtain cheaper insurance due to his conviction of drink driving. Obviously since separating I do not drive this car anymore and don’t wish to be implicated in any errors on his part
If you know the name of the insurance company inform them and also inform the police. This is fraud.

Problem is I don’t know insurers name and it’s very unlikely he will tell me
Then notify the police who will check his insurance.
If you have good reason to think this has happened use the information given by Twix above.
if you know the vehicle reg you could look on here on the "I am insuring the vehicle" reason. https://ownvehicle.askmid.com
Lynn, I think that squad deal with major frauds. The local police should be able to deal with this quite easily.

woofgang, that site only says that you have insurance, not who with.
