We are in the process of moving home our house is not ready for a few weeks. We have been living in temporary accommodation. When we moved I phoned our insurance broker to inform them. I gave a temporary address ( my brother as we stayed with them for the first week ) to contact us if need be.
We have been on holiday over the Christmas break and my husbands car got badly scratched whilst on the road. We phoned our broker who gave us our insurers number we told them our situation and answered all the questions. We have now had an email asking us our move date to temporarily accommodation. This is now worrying us, are we actually insured would the broker inform the insurance company of our change of address they did not ask me to do this. There policy does say nform us of change of address ?
