My granddaughter was involved in an accident in her work places car park. After reversing out of a bay, another employee, a girl, reversed into the rear of my granddaughters car. Initially the other girl said it was my granddaughters fault. I advised my GD to ask if the company had cctv. When my GD went to see the boss the next day, the other girl was already in the bosses office, and the boss already knew of the incident. When confronted in front of the boss, the girl broke down and admitted it was her fault. My GDs insurance has contacted my GD after several weeks, telling her the other girl is not responding to the calls from her insurance. What course of action can I tell her to take. TIA

She could ask her boss if he's willing to let her insurance company contact him so that he can conform that the other girl admitted liability in his presence.
leave it in the hands of the insurers. if they were both reversing and hit each other, it sounds like knock for knock. It doesnt matter who admits or denies fault - the insurance companies willl sort it out
What she could do is to instruct her insurers not to make any payments under her policy and to take civil action against the Third Party to recover the cost of repairs to her car. The downside is that if the TP defends the matter your GD will face the task of proving in the civil court that the accident was the fault of the TP. The downside to this is that if the court finds against her she will be liable to pay the costs of repairs to her car, possibly also for repairs to the TP's car as well and the court costs. Best let the insurers sort it.
The Knock for Knock agreement between insurers ceased about 20 years ago.

My GD had completed her reversing manoeuvre but was unable to drive forward due to another car ahead. She saw the other girl reversing to her near side, sounded her horn to make her aware, but the other girl continued reversing.
My mates Grandson was at Tesco last week, an accident happened involving a Young Asian, from what I gather from what my mate's Grandson has said the opposite person was totally In the wrong, out of the blue came a few Asian Witnesses how convenient, this is where a OBC Comes in for proof.
