Hi could anyone answer my question please....my friend booked us a 4 day trip to Spain... we now are unable to go due to a family bereavement. I took out holiday insurance, can I claim the price of my holiday back when I didn't book the trip ....

look at your policy

Check your policy wording. If you have lost the booking then it shouldn't make much difference who made the booking, it's your holiday.

A successful claim will depend on which family member is deceased. Again read the policy conditions.
