wait your making me aggitated.have speakers but they bit bulky for my desk so havnt plugged them in ! i like a neat desk !dont know if there ever was sound, because as you may know i live in homeless accommodation and the comp was given to me , to keep me off the streets....................no disrespect to any one in homeless accommodation.

square bear, i have used comps that have built in speakers, i think ? incapacity.there is a new word round every corner.

Monitors often have built in speakers and so do laptops, but generally Desktops need speakers, if your monitor has speakers there will be separate wires for these speaker.
