How do I download a youtube video clip?

I wish to save a youtube video clip, and then copy it onto DVD, how can I do this please?

I was once told to download a Firefox add on called Save Video.

But when I press this while playing the clip all I get is a list of the same named clip with different dates by their side, and at the bottom I get the message you may have to download "Replay Media Catcher"

I use Real Player to download any YouTube clips I like.I have never tried burning them to disc though so can't help you with that.

Thank you for your replies, yes I too have used realplayer which puts the clip on your computer.

But how does one convert it to burn onto a DVD to play on most DVD p[layers?

If your DVD player plays AVI file then just convert them from FLV to AVI using free software and then burn as data onto disk.

Otherwise use ConvertXtoDVD as suggested by docspock.
