Depends on how many sockets/light fittings (normally an electrician will charge a price per socket/light fitting) you have, whether you want any extra ones fitting whilst the electrician is rewiring, and whether you need a new fuse box, and or new light fittings, and the making good after the rewire viz floorboards, plastering where walls have been cut out to accomodate cablesw.
Get an electrician out to give you a free estimate.
No, you do not want an estimate - you want a quotation.
An estimate is just that - price that may vary according to how much the tradesperson thinks he can get away with. A quotation is a formal offer to undertake a described piece of work for a price.
The best ballpark answer I can offer you is 2000 +/- 500 but it very much depnds on what, where, and how big.
