i have a 1410 hp printer but cant seem
to maintain or clean the cartridge heads
ive tried printer settings is there another way
prev how do i change a jpeg image file to a png, jpg or gif image file

take out the cartridge and pass a baby wipe over the metallic contacts (if the machine isn't recognising the carts) , then over the ink nozzles (if the print quality is poor). if this won't help you will need a new cart.

a lot of printers won't have a specific option anywhere to clean the print heads as it's done automatically every time the printer is switched on.
