As stated above depends on the type of train you mean. But in general a very large engine can be used to pull a lot of cars.

The engine drives the wheels. The wheels go round, and the choo-choo moves along a track.

My train set never worked. I got really fed up.

I think the government modelled theirs on mine.

Do you mean a locomotive - 'train' is a string of carriages pulled by a loco
