to have several blue flashing lights fitted to the radiator on the front of your car? IF it is just an ordinary car, not an emergency service? serious answers only please!

Unfortunately that would be classed as illegal as well as having red lights on the front of your car is also. Sorry!

Don't apologise, thats what i thought when i was being tailgated by a car with two alternate flashing blue light at either side of the car, which def wasnt a police car

wish i'd taken a numberplate now!
It is illegal to have, other than the specified amber indicator lights for signaling, any colour of light on a vehicle, facing in the forward direction of travel other than white.

So those pretty little x-mas trees that plug into you dash are out.....also the under car neon lights that boy racers seem to love so much are illegal to operate while the vehicle is in motion.

...so sft, does that make those ridiculous illuminated windsreen washers illegal aswell?
Just out of interest chazza, how are you sure it wasn't a cop? Undercover police cars always have alternately flashing blue lights fitted in their radiator.

It def wasnt a cop, i've seen police cars before with their flashing lights and this def wasn't them
I frequently see unmarked cars of all makes and models with blue lights under the grill. Often they can be seen driving around London sometimes with a siren, sometimes without. I assume they're all perfectly legal.
never ASSUME craigb85, or you make an ASS out of U and ME
