I find sometimes that when I seek to update my iPod (80Gb) from my Apple Mac iTunes Library that it requires a complete reinstallation of the entire iTunes Library onto iPod. Sometimes the update works perfectly and is completed in seconds. Can any AnswerBank reader help?

If you are also promted to re-install iPod software as well this can be because the battery has completely lost all charge and corrupts the drive/memory. Well that's what happens with mine.

Best to keep the juice topped up!
