Better to burn wood.

Once fully lit don't let it roar away, your logs will turn to ashes too quickly. Instead gradually damp it down and could last all night.

Make sure you use dry seasoned logs and like kwicky says don`t let it roar away once its going turn the air wash(s) fully off and then just turm them back on a quarter of a turn
