Didn't really know where to put this Q. sorry if it is in the wrong place.

I have my final exam (theory) for the PADI Open water course soon, can someone tell me the number of questions involved? are they all Multiple choice (apart from the RDP ones). I believe you need 75% to pass, has anyone got some advice info about it?

Cheers
in advance.

Hi, If you read your manual, then you'll know all the answers. If you're going to dive you really need to get 100% to be a safe diver - but go for it, its a great sport.
hi iceman, as permacurl said, all the info you need is in the manual, just go through it , but if you are not sure about ANYTHING ask your instructor, he/she will be happy to help.
great sport, enjoy yourself, but ALWAYS be safe,

Hi Thanks both of you, passed the theory last week, passed the open water yesterday in a freezing quarry with loads of fish!
I'm doing mine in a couple of weeks. Was it really that cold? I keep being told different things, some say you're perfectly warm, others that you really do feel the cold!

It depends on your dry suit. Mine leaked slowly, and I am North West U.K, so our quarry was freezing, I didn't wear the gloves, as they were a bit cumbersome, so it was mainly my hands. I suggest wearing 2 thick pair of socks, due to the squeeze and temperature.

Apart rom that, it was fine.

The theory test is very easy.
