And why, when you get older, and your ears are larger, yet you can't hear as well?
Sorry, I remember reading about it but have forgotten why. All I remember is that it has to do with ears being cartilage and it is caused by a regenerative malfunction (well, that's my excuse)
Apparently, your nose keeps growing too. Which is cartilage too, so that makes sense.
the nose doesn't make scents, it senses them!
Your eyeballs stay the same size, ears and nose grow and everything else shrinks and sags. What way to start a Thursday morning! lol

No man its a fact. Go look at your grandad or someone old, look at their ears, they look huge!
wow! you so know im straight round the local old folks home in the mornin to check this phenomonen out! ..........just had a thought tho.....maybe ears dont grow but your face shrinks.....or somethin....maybe.

lol everything shrinks but im certain that ears elongate. I checked my dad's out.
i need 2 get out more......think this is goin to take over my life...
The skin gets looser in the ears too
