A neighbour of mine moved in recently and hasn't got the access code for her alarm - is it possible to program ina new access code without the original??

As far as I know, there should be a jumper on the circuit board that will reset the codes to default, whatever they may be. Usually something like, 9999, or similar. if you get hold of the manual, it should tell you. You then power down the system and power up with the jumper in place. You can then enter engineer's mode to set the access codes your choice
