I know the UK mobile prefix is +44, but can anyone tell me what number I'd have to use to prefix an Austrailan mobile? This is not a UK person travelling, but an Oz residents' mobile

Also, any idea (O2 network) how much a text/picture message costs, cannot find info on O2 website.

Thanks

The prefix depends on the country of the number you call , not on the location or ownership of the phone making the call. If the mobile has an Australian number then to call it prefix with +61. If the phone number is a UK number, prefix it with +44
+61 for australia I believe.

inclusive free texts/message packages aside, I think on average a text message would be around 8-12p per text, and a picture message around 20-25p
