Can anybody help me find the right bulbs for this please. I have tried googling for them but not sure some looks same bulbs but does not mention for a cooker just spotlight. Nothing on the bulb I removed just says 240/40w cannot see a model number on my hood either. Looks like a halogen spotlight small screw in type.

Have you got the model number of the hood, or can you upload a photo of the bulb to https://imgbb.com and paste the link

Have you still got the manual that came with the hood?  There's a good chance it will tell you in it.

Just get a small Edison Screw LED of a lumens power that suits you. Its not crucial as to which to use.

If it was me I would probably replace it with an LED equivalent to save energy though.

237sj that would be the one expensive but that's it. An ordinary led bulb would work but would need to be heat resistant no?

Question Author

Thanks all for replying to me. Would like to try led bulb but must be different as think it's something to do with heat off hob.

I gave an ordinary LED lamp in mine. Its been in a few years without any issues.

mjwman good to hear that.....might as well try one. I just wondered about the heat /steam. £13.49 plus £4 postage expensive bulb.

is this the right one?

If your original was 40W then the one at 11.02 is 4.5W LED which is roughly equivalent to 20W of the old type so won't be as bright.
