There’s a domestic rabbit on some open ground over the fence from our house. We saw it once last year and we’ve seen it nearly every day this week. It’s only a little thing and we’re soft touches when it comes to animals. The owner knows it keeps getting out and doesn’t care (I work in the local shop so talk to lots of people) and the RSPCA have been informed. Is there anything I can actually do about it (I don’t particularly want a rabbit as I’ve read they’re not good on their own and I don’t want to fork out for a hutch)? Need some input from adults rather than animal loving teenagers :)

As much as I would want to do something for that little rabbit, I might just leave it to it's own devices. Unless, of course, there is an animal rescue facility nearby that will come and pick it up.

It’s still there, it’s only little and it’s bedraggled :(
I wouldn’t leave it as it will get eaten, I would catch it pop it in a box with an old towel and take it to a sanctuary

Don’t have transport.
They might come and pick it up.
Put something on your local Facebook page and see if anyone from the local rescue is there
Have the RSPCA not done anything yet ? The least they should do is visit the owners - irresponsible so and so's that they are ! You maybe don't want a rabbit, but if you just leave it, it will be killed by a predator, surprised it hasn't already. Catch it and ask around for a good home. I don't know what else you can do really, poor little thing.
Poor thing wouldn't last five minutes round here with the fox family. Do you have a local rescue that would fetch it from you if you can catch it?
