For some reason, my Lenovo ideapad 330 is not finding the camera when attached by a USB.
The Compact Flash can't be inserted into the computer, as there is no port to do so.

How do I get my photos? Any help please?

I have an EOS 300D.
I do not think you can transfer photos to a computer via the USB lead unless you have the Zoombrowser software installed (supplied with camera). Otherwise, you need a suitable card reader with a CF slot.
