Bbc Quiz: Week 2

A decent enough start for me this week, I think, with FIVE out of seven on the main quiz. (It’s obviously an easy week!)

The kids’ quiz is simple too (as it’s meant to be, of course) but I still couldn’t achieve a maximum score. FOUR out of five for me:

Given that two of the questions from the junior quiz are effectively duplicated in the Timed Teaser this week, it shouldn’t be too difficult to achieve at least a reasonable score in the latter. Despite that, however, I could only manage a ‘barely passable’ FOUR out of ten there:

[NB: The questions load in a different format this week. Instead of seeing a new web page after answering a question, the next one simply loads below the former on the same page, and so on. I nearly didn’t see Question 2 until the timer bar for it had run down!]

How will YOU do this week, I wonder?

Good evening, Patsy.

Welcome to the club with the main quiz and well done on beating me in the sprint event ;-)
Four and five this week.
6, 4, 6 for me this week
5 in the main quiz
2 in the kiddies quiz (Easy Chris? Easy??)
7 in the timed quiz.

Unbelievably eight on the timed.

Cashier dashes into the lead in the sprint race! Well done!
(. . . and a perfect kid too!)

Mozz has done well in the sprint, too!
( . . . but needs to spend more time playing with Lego to do well as a kid, I think!)

Good scores all round (including near perfection in each of the first two quizzes) for Toorak too!

Very close to my scores, Mamya - but you can be close to me at any time, as far as I'm concerned ;-)
4/7,3/5,7/10. Cold enough tonight for Robbie to want a lot of attention…
7 4 7 for me
4/7, 4/5 and 7/10 for me this week.
5; 2: 7.I haven’t submitted my scores for several months because they’ve been so dreadful. Fingers crossed this improvement will continue.

Well done on that perfect 7 in the main quiz, Calmck! (Good scores elsewhere too!)

Decent enough 'middling' scores on the first two, Campbellking, and a lot better than me in the sprint event! I've just turned the oven on in my kitchen, even know I'm not cooking anything, because Tablo told me to! (She loves it when she can curl up on a stool next to a nice, warm oven!). Moonbeam is curled up on a nice, soft towel, on my desk right next to me. I think that Chequers must be upstairs, curled up on my bed. I hope that Robbie is equally comfy!
A better week this week - 6,4 and 7.

Good scores, Tony, especially in the sprint!
(Why doe seeing your name always make me remember that it's about time I opened a beer, I wonder?)
;-)

Welcome back, HW4! There's never any need to worry about poor scores here. We all get them occasionally! Welcome to the club too, with the main quiz and well done on being way ahead of me in the sprint!

Great scores, Milo2! Near perfection in the first two quizzes and a lot better than me in the high speed one!

Well seeing as you mention it, Chris ;-)

4 2 and 4.
I got the football question wrong in the timed quiz even though I’d just seen the answer in the kids’ one.
