I think Sky News missed a few exclamation marks out of the above!

If that's the track record, it does not look good for Latifa ...
She is the daughter of the ruler & if bumped off Dubai have their own legals to deal with him.
Question Author
Tambo; "She is the daughter of the ruler & if bumped off Dubai have their own legals to deal with him. " - that is quite breathtaking in its naivety. Have you any idea how Middle Eastern dictatorships work? Her dad's the gaffer, no "legal" will do anything. They are pre Magna Carta in these places.
This sort of thing must happen reasonably regularly around the world but the UN doesn't get involved. Just goes to show, one rule for the rich and another for the poor

...they only get the time of day from the civilised world because they sit on a product we all need.
Sposing the Sheik told the Queen & Gov how to treat Harry to all he desires - wouldnt u be annoyed?
as stalin said ( in roshan I suppose)

one death is a tragedy - a million deaths is a statistic

I can recommend Death of Stalin on Netflix
Question Author
have day off Tambo, you are looking very silly now, the Queen is a figure head of state, she has very little power over anything. The Sheik is effectively a dictator with total power.
Ive been to Dubai & dont like saying but....all the hotels heave with western girls prostituting themselves. We should be more worried about that!
so how will the UN being involved help? What are they ACTUALLY going to do?
Britain trades many things, including arms, with Dubai and Brits also go on holiday there (although my gay friends are not keen on visiting, for some reason!). So we should take an interest in how its leaders behave. We're connected.
Question Author
Bednobs, they won't do anything directly but the fact they are involved puts the spotlight on the place. Not much can be done but it will at least highlight the barbarity of these places. Surprised at the lack of caring for the princess by some in this thread.
Other health services are barbaric, other cultures are barbaric.......?according to TTT.
We have a new definition of barbarism......any situation that TTT disagrees with.
If Latifa came to UK she would need 24/7 guards at tax payers expense, to avoid kidnap. She knows the customs of her country & must abide or suffer.
Proves how much notice I take of the news nowadays, I saw Princess Latifa, and thought "I saw Queen Latifah in a film a few weeks ago, she's not dead."
