I have a problem with my LivarnoLux Led Solar Light , Model HGO3611. The light stays on all the time( Day & Night) in both AUTO mode and PIR mode. I took out the batteries and they are fully charged. I replaced them in the correct position but the light stays on . The lights go off when i switch to the OFF position. Is there any way i can fix this problem without having to mess around with the wires inside? Thanks.

I'm not familiar with this particular light but if there is any adjustment available then I would suggest, with the batteries out, trying setting it/all to the most sensitive setting and reinstall the batteries. Then repeat at the other end of the scale. If no adjustment is available then you have already done all that can be done short of accessing the individual components. The fault you describe suggests a sensor switching failure.
We've just replaced 2 of ours.

We went for one from Screwfix - which went back after a week, so did its replacement!

We then got a Spear and Jackson one from Homebargains - no problem with it, so we got the second one today.
Your original looks like the one we've just replaced - from Aldi or Lidl?

We tested the panel and it wasn't producing much current/voltage - hence why we replaced it, as it to started going on during the day.

Tbh, I’ve not experienced such an issue. I guess it’s done, so you can give it to the service so they can help you. I don’t see any other options here. As for me, I’ve bought these lights for my car https://www.vont.com/product/vont-car-smart-strip-light/. They had been working for 3 years successfully, but something happened to this strip. I guess my kids did something to it, so I gave it to the service nearby. They successfully fixed everything. I think that’s the option. Why not trust people who know about it more than you? It won’t cost you much anyway.
